Lochlan Kapuscinski, professionally known as KAPLOC, is a Canadian audio engineer, music producer, and acoustic consultant based in Kelowna, British Columbia. Originally from Shawnigan Lake, BC, Lochlan developed a passion for music and audio from an early age, studying drums and piano before expanding into music production and hip-hop under the name Big Lochie.

At 18, Lochlan began pursuing audio as a professional career, developing his skills across music production, recording, mixing, and sound engineering. In 2024, he relocated to Kelowna to attend the Audio Engineering program at Okanagan College, where he graduated with top marks and developed his technical knowledge and practical experience in professional studio environments.

Throughout his development as a producer and engineer, Lochlan has had the opportunity to collaborate with RIAA Platinum-certified producers, including XBRADY and WayvBeats, as well as local artists such as Cerbeus, Yung Hundo, and Miggs The Chemist. These collaborations have contributed to a technical and creative approach grounded in both professional studio practices and modern music production. KAPLOC is recognized for a rhythm-driven approach, with a particular emphasis on dynamic percussion, and immersive sonic textures. His production combines strong rhythmic foundations with melodic elements, often working alongside longtime collaborator and co-producer KVSE to incorporate high-quality samples and sound design into his work.

Today, Lochlan operates under KAPLOC Music & Sound, providing professional audio services across music production, recording, mixing, mastering, and acoustic consulting.

His work in acoustics focuses on helping clients create spaces that sound as good as they look and function. Through acoustic assessment, measurement, analysis, and treatment recommendations, KAPLOC Music & Sound works with recording studios, performance spaces, commercial environments, churches, and multipurpose spaces to improve acoustic performance and create more controlled, comfortable, and effective listening environments.
